Where's Eloy?

For the past couple weeks we’ve been hearing about how hard Eloy has been working in practice. So how does he manage to get ZERO playing time against Georgia? Eloy has amassed a whopping 8 minutes of playing time in the last five games combined. I realize it’s hard to get PT when you have three All-American caliber big men gobbling up all the minutes, but Eloy is worthy of at least a few junk minutes per game. I was at the SEC Tournament last year and Eloy came up with some HUGE plays against Florida in the championship game. It ended up being a blowout, but Eloy’s critical plays tilted the momentum to the Cats and they never looked back. Come on Cal, throw the Centaurgas in there and let him at least bang with the bigs and pull down a couple nasty boards. At a minimum he could give Davis a few more minutes to catch his breath and rough somebody up with his elbows and hooves.

Yes, I'm basically calling Kidd-Gilchrist a "big man". He's a beast, and you can't refer to non-big men as beasts. Therefore Eloy plays behind 3 All American caliber big men. Miller and Wiltjer are also 6'8" and 6'9" respectively. Now that I think about it, this team is huge.

We all know that the only true college basketball "beast" is Jack Cooley and his striped socks. http://frathousesports.com/wp-content/uploads/Jack-Cooley-Luke-Harangody-Notre-Dame.jpg

Robic said on Tom Leach's show the other night that the staff has told Eloy, "One day you will be called upon..." Just like Don Corleone to Bonasera in the Godfather.
